We are seeking a self-motivated, responsible and experienced Vietnamese individual to support species conservation through local capacity building programme in Vietnam.

You will take charge of our remote education program - Wild Libraries -prioritising areas for support and visiting your project sites to ensure WildAct’s objectives are being met. You will develop aims and objectives for new projects in collaboration with local partners, and will actively look for ways to expand into other areas, in line with WildAct’s overall goals.

You will play an active role in our nationwide capacity building program, assisting in the development and running of our unique master’s program at the University of Vinh in Nghe An province, based around combating the illegal wildlife trade and captive animal welfare.

You will actively seek opportunities for network development, mutually beneficial, productive partnerships and new opportunities for funding.

You will apply your own interest in conservation and environmental issues to develop new ideas, programs and resources, in collaboration with the team, in line with WildAct’s overall mission.

This role will require working independently and in a small team, including with international staff and partners. You will be expected to communicate professionally by emails, skype, and phone call. In addition, you will explore opportunities for further collaboration and fundings. The role will require domestic travel and possibly international travel to meet project partners.

As a crucial member of the team, you will be expected to become involved in all aspects of WildAct’s conservation programmes and to encourage the use of best practices to ensure the delivery the project’s goals.
