CWT 2023 - Combating Illegal Wildlife Trade 2023 Course
With the aim of providing young people with knowledge, capacity building and conservation career opportunities, WildAct colaborated with School of Environmental Science and Technology (INEST), Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) to organise a short-term course on Combating Illigal Wildlife Trade (CWT).

Time: 08/5/2023 - 19/05/2023
Mode of study/Module type: Full-time
Location: Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Cuc Phuong National Park
Participant: Final year students or graduate, working in any majors.
Course Content: 2 modules:
Module 1: (2 weeks) Theory and practice (50%)
Provide infomation about combating illigal wildlife trade, captive animal welfare, communications in conservation.
Module 2: Internship (50%)
This is an opportunity for participants to gain experience, build up professional network and promote conservation career opportunities. Deadline for summiting the internship report is June 20, 2023.
The course is FREE of charge for all participants. Especially, WildAct awards 02 types of scholarship (limited numbers) to support participants:
Travel scholarship: for disadvantaged participants living outside of Hanoi. Participants will be covered 100% of the two-way transport cost from local to Hanoi.
Research scholarship: for all course participants with the qualified research that expected to be carried out and further developed in the future.
